Hostile monsters have a chance to spawn with mithril equipment and begrimed items.

There are five tiers of relics. ● Mithril ● Legendary ● Epic ● Rare ● Common

Mithril Core

Mithril Cores can be used to trade at the Shady Merchant at spawn. They are needed to create a Mithril Runestone. You need 1 Mithril Core and 8 Runestone Fragments.

Obtainable through Gemstones and Quest Merchant.

Runestone Fragment

Runestone Fragments can be used to trade at the Shady Merchant at spawn. They are needed to create a Mithril Runestone . You need 1 Mithril Core and 8 Runestone Fragments. They are also needed to make Creeper Spawners, for which you need 4 Runestone Fragments and 1 Spawner Spinner.

Obtainable through Gemstones, Quest Merchant, the Daily Llama and The Holy Cauldron.

Common Runestone

These will give you a Common tiered relic. These may sometimes have randomly generated enchantments and also get a randomly generated name.

Obtainable through the Daily Llama.

Rare Runestone

These will give you a Rare tiered relic. These have randomly generated enchantments and also get a randomly generated name.

Obtainable through the Daily Llama.

Epic Runestone

These will give you a Epic tiered relic. These have randomly generated enchantments and also get a randomly generated name.

Obtainable through the Daily Llama.

Legendary Runestone

These will give you a Legendary tiered relic. These have randomly generated enchantments and also get a randomly generated name.

Obtainable through Gemstones, the Quest Merchant and x1 from voting 25 times within a month.

Mithril Runestone

Mithril Relics are obtained from Mithril Runestones. A Mithril Runestone is created using 8 Runestone Fragments & 1 Mithril Core. Once opened, it will give you a random tool or piece of armor.

You cannot craft a Mithril Runestone in a crafting table. You have to go to The Shady Merchant to trade the items for a Mithril Runestone. This merchant can be found at spawn. However, you'll have to be at least Apprentice rank to be able to talk to enter.

Mithril items have OP enchantments and come with custom textures. They are obtainable through Gemstones & The Shady Merchant.

You may also buy a Mithril Runestone from the Quest Merchant for 10 Elite Quest Crystals

Begrimed Items

These items are locked and can only be opened using a Historical Codex. Once you open it, the item will reveal itself as a random relic of any of the above tiers.

Begrimed items are obtained from Gemstones and hostile mobs.

Spawner Spinner

Spawner Spinners will grant you a random mob spawner. Spawner Spinners can be created by giving the Shady Merchant 1 Block of Netherite and 1 Nether Star. They cannot be crafted using a crafting table.

They can also be used to make Creeper Spawners by trading them in at the Shady Merchant with 1 Spawner Spinner and 4 Runestone Fragments

You will need to be Miner level 30 with a golden silk touch pickaxe to pick up a spawner block that has been placed down, so be careful where you place them!
